National Student Athlete Day

April 6th is National Student Athlete Day.

Being a student athlete is not an easy task, it takes hard work and discipline to be a successful athlete while pursuing an education. For this I want to recognize the hard work and dedication of my son and his friends who have been enjoying the game since youth soccer and now have the privilege of representing their colleges, all while maintaining good grades!

If you love the game, check out the short clip of some of my son’s game highlights below:

    1. Totally agreed. Music and sports I find help kids to develop some invaluable organizational skills. They are also better of prioritizing and multi-tasking and if they do go on to get a scholarship for college, even better😊

  1. The academic and athletic workload on students is very demanding. I enjoyed watching your son play and his foot control on the ball is a ballet. I enjoy college sports much more than professional sports. Thank you for sharing.

      1. Exactly! Hence the name FOOT-ball – you kick the ball ⚽️ at all times! American “football “ should be called soccer instead, because that’s basically what they do, run around “socc-ing” each other to get the damn 🏈!!
