Season of Change

As we quietly usher in the month of May, this is the perfect time to think about change. Change is inevitable but sometimes it’s unpredictable, uncomfortable and unwelcomed but it represents continuity of life and hope. Hope for new beginnings, a fresh start, a time for improvement and a time to face our truths.

**”Sometimes we avoid certain truths that confront us because it’s uncomfortable and with truth comes responsibility. Truth presents the conviction and the opportunity for change.” Life goes through cycles of good times and some not so good times. I’m sure you would all agree that the last few years have not been so good. But that is life, in fact that is one of the predictable things about life. This old saying sums it up perfectly, “all good things must come to an end”, thankfully the same is true for the bad things.

Hopefully the last few years have brought us face to face with some truths about this world and even more importantly, about ourselves. Now, as we stand on the cusp of change again, we have to examine ourselves and our hearts and make a decision on how we’re going to use the lessons learnt, and the insights gained during those not so good years. We have to confront the truths about what we stand for, and in whom and what we believe and whom or what inspires us. Our words and our actions reflect our hearts and ultimately will determine the kind of change that together we will bring about during this time of rebirth and renewal.

Happy May and thanks for reading…Sincerely Jan!
