Last night along with a few family members and close friends we took part in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s annual Light the Night Fundraiser. We literally lit up the night with lanterns and fireworks in an effort to raise funds to advance cures and provide support for people currently undergoing the fight against various blood cancers.
In a previous post Blood Cancer Awareness Month I shared with you some of the ways you too could help in this fight. This includes knowing and heeding the early warning signs of the disease and donating your time and other resources or just simply spreading the word to raise awareness among friends and family.

What a good cause on a beautiful night.

Such a great cause and thanks for also sharing the link for your previous post. After reading “The Purpose Driven Life”, my daughter & I sought out several volunteer opportunities.
