T’was the 11th day before Christmas and all through the town, houses were decorated and begging to be counted down.
Decorating houses for Christmas is a tradition that began in Germany in the 16th century when devout Christians brought decorated trees into their homes. Today the tradition continues, and decorations have extended not only inside but also outside of homes and all over the world.
For the 11th day before Christmas, we will be counting 11 decorated houses in my neighborhood. Let me know which is your favorite!

Number 1 of the 11 is my favorite, but they are all spectacular! Thanks for sharing! The decorations are one of my favorite highlights for Christmas. Since childhood driving or walking around neighborhoods to see the fabulous decorations has always been an enjoyable pastime for me!β€

Number four is cool and kind of different. But I’d say number six for the win. Something about the quaintness of number six makes it a fave.

Yep #4 with all those psychedelic lights is cool for sure and agreed #6 is classy and quaint.

I love them all. But then I’ve never even put a plastic Rudolph in my front yard. I barely skate by on not being called a scrooge. Those are all very nice.

They are each festive and gorgeous. I love going around to look at Christmas lights. I would take my children on a trip around town to look at the lights, then home for some hot chocolate. #1 is my favorite, but the others are really nice as well.

Yeah, you picked some good ones there. It’s too warm in Florida does not feel like Christmas. Christmas is supposed to be cold with snow π€£.
