March is a month that we celebrate beautiful women all over the world, but what is it that really makes a woman beautiful? Is it the fullness of her lips, the sparkle in her eyes, the charm in her smile or the dimensions of her face? Since forever, we have been conditioned to define beauty by our outward appearances. Thin was in, thick was out, light was in, dark was out, tall was in, short was out, “beauty” was in, and brains were out.
Today between the proliferation of social media and our obsession with physical beauty we are constantly being bombarded with notions of what is beautiful and what is not. Those of us who are unfortunate enough to fall victim to this hype, too often emerge ego bruised with a misplaced sense of self-worth. I know we’ve all heard this before but it’s worth saying it again. The way we look on the outside has little to do with how beautiful we truly are. I’m sure we’ve all seen that woman with the genes of a goddess but with demeanor and morals leaving much to be desired, now you tell me just how beautiful you think she really is.
True beauty is not about the features of our faces but about what’s imprinted on our hearts. Our hearts impact our thoughts which are reflected in the words that flow from our mouths and by the way we comport ourselves.
A beautiful woman inspires others through her words and her deeds. She supports, she encourages, and she lifts. She guards her heart and mind from negative and toxic thoughts knowing full well her thoughts spill over into the way she sees and treats others, and in turn, the way others see and treat her. A beautiful woman is a good friend, a good mother, a good daughter, a good spouse, and a polite considerate stranger. A beautiful woman is God fearing and aware of what’s right and what’s wrong. A beautiful woman knows what true beauty is and strives to reflect it daily. She also acknowledges she’s human and is therefore always working to be better at being beautiful ❤️.
“Charm and beauty are deceptive and fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.” – Proverbs 31:30 ESV
A woman who loves to nurture the child within us all, who cares carefully when one is supposed to be an adult, who can play and debate like a sexy animal who is safe but still wild enough to be independently intelligent and have a game plan that is benevolent, exciting, and true to self, this woman is beautiful.

So true. We don’t see real beauty, we feel it through someones actions.

Yep, “beauty” fades but people never forget how someone treats them 😊.
